About

I have a BSc in Microbiology and Biochemistry, and an MSc in Biochemistry. After my MSc, I worked in the research field for a few years, where I studied hair follicle stem cells in wound healing.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that I enjoyed writing about science more than doing science. This prompted me to explore the field of science journalism.

I have covered stories in the diverse fields of biology, health, and medicine for multiple media outlets. My biology research training comes in handy while explaining science and writing balanced stories.

When I'm not writing, reading, or thinking about science, you can find me huddled in a corner with a cup of tea, reading novels, watching Netflix, or practicing yoga.

If you have a tip for a science-related story, or want to commission work, please feel free to reach out to me here.
